Psychologist Radu Leca brought up on "Present Parents", a show hosted by the editor-in-chief of ParintisiPitici.ro, Loredana Iriciuc, an alarming perspective on children who follow an extremely busy schedule, being involved in various activities from school to foreign language courses and other extracurricular activities.
The expert warns that this approach can lead to negative consequences on the child's mental health, turning them into a "permanent patient" of specialized clinics. Additionally, attention is drawn to the responsibility of parents in this context, emphasizing that lack of involvement and indifference contribute to this problem and that the presence and active support of parents in the child's life are essential for healthy development.
"In the words of Ramona Dumitru (psychologist, creator of Ultrapsihologie, DCNews): a permanent patient is being produced from everything related to speech therapy, psychology, and psychotherapy. You're not producing a champion, you're producing a patient!
I realize that I will work until I'm 90, regardless of the career path recommended for me. Maybe I won't be a psychologist anymore, as I'm seriously considering doing something else. A coach or anything, because clinics will be filled with sick children!
The money a psychologist will earn in the next 10 years nationally will multiply not by 100, but by 1000 because today's parents or those preparing to become parents in the next 5 years will produce so many sick children that we will need places in psychology faculties in all universities in the country, 10,000 places.
The mistakes parents are making now are so significant and are based on three elements: indifference, it's in the forefront, lack of involvement, and the absence of the parent in the child's life!" said psychologist Radu Leca on "Present Parents", a show by ParintisiPitici.ro.

Psychologist Radu Leca challenges us to ask ourselves what it truly means to be a parent. He suggests that a true parent is one who not only provides their child with education and opportunities but also gives them love, support, and the necessary time to develop harmoniously and healthily.
Furthermore, he urges us to consider the specific needs of Romanian children and not simply adopt foreign parenting models that may not align with our cultural realities and values.
"Which parent? That person is not a parent. That person is just a father, referred to as the biological father or mother. That is not a parent. A parent is something entirely different.
We have a structure politely called the world of parenting, which we believe in. That structure of parenting comes from France. Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Poland, have no connection to Romania! It has no connection to us!
We should create a world of parenting that certifies the needs of Romanian parents indoctrinated by Western influences and illusorily manipulated non-Europeans to fight against Europe. That there is no real successful parenting. Instead, some targets AI bots have when they write a parenting book. If you ask AI something, it will answer you. But there won't be feelings.
I can only say this much: Do you want a champion child? Yes! Show them that they truly deserve it!" concluded Radu Leca.
